SEYCHELLES

The Seychelles fall perfectly into the category of “tropical paradise” islands. White, coconut palm-fringed beaches, crystal clear warm water are complimented superb hotels and resorts where every luxury is offered.

Whether it’s diving and snorkelling on spectacular reefs, viewing jewel-like fish through the glass bottoms of specially designed boats or partaking in more energetic sports such as paragliding behind a power boat, the Seychelles offers water based holidays at their best.

Sun worshippers will not be disappointed and those sipping exotic cocktails while basking on the beaches around the pool may be forgiven for thinking they have slipped into paradise.

The islands are scattered across the western Indian Ocean about 900 miles (1440 kilometres) off Africa’s east coast. More than 1000 species of fish have been recorded in the waters surrounding the islands which are also home to large colonies of seabirds and giant land tortoises.

Keen fly anglers travel from across the globe to catch, and release, kingfish, bonefish and other sought after species in the clear waters. The Morne Seychellois National Park is on the main island of Mahe and protects a wide array of vegetation and birdlife and makes a fascinating excursion away from the delights of the oceans and beaches.

Hartley’s will ensure that your Seychelles holiday is “paradise plus”.
