Tracking Black Rhino

Tracking Black Rhino The vast open landscapes of the arid Damaraland region of Namibia are home to some of the most elusive black rhino left on earth.

Fewer than 5 000 black rhino exist in the world and every sighting of one of these prehistoric looking animals is a special experience, even for the guides who have seen the animals many times.

The rhinos wander over vast areas in search of food and the guides use local knowledge and their astonishing tracking skills to locate the animals.

Due to the distances covered, tours are conducted by vehicle and comfortable campsites are selected according to the location of the animals.

Meals are provided by expert outdoor cooks.
